What is Kiss Cover

Kiss Cover is the result of decades of experience with custom and universal keyboard covers.

Custom-molded covers have problems: they’re thick and hard to type through, they don’t stay in place without tape, and their grooves accumulate grime and are hard to clean well.

Our solution was the Universal Keyboard Cap, a flat and thin elastic film. They’re amazing to type through and easy to clean, but their universal fit can be slightly loose and messier looking on some keyboards.

Enter: Kiss Cover. Kiss Cover is our step to expand beyond keyboard covers, quite literally. It is a “control cover”, because it covers keyboards and the other control surfaces of your laptop.

Kiss Cover has the amazing sensitivity of our Universal Keyboard Cap, but with new materials and elastic straps that are tailored to fulfill its role as a control cover. It has a very tailored and tight fit, and a smooth texture, which combine for a great touch control experience, while its thinness and stretchiness make it great for typing.

On MacBooks, this means Kiss Cover protects the keyboard, touch controls, track pad, and fingerprint sensors, as well as covering the palm rests, all with amazing sensitivity, compatibility, and comfort.

Kiss Cover’s incredibly wide protection and flat surface also allows you to easily disinfect the most touched parts of your laptop with a simple spray and wipe, which is amazing for individual users, or admins who run computer labs and offices and want to be able to regularly disinfect shared and communal computers.

Beyond laptops, Kiss Cover and our other control covers have the flexibility and transparency to do even more; they can cover keyboards, touch controls, touchscreens, tablets, monitors, keypads, fingerprint sensors, just about every control surface on the market.

How We Began

In 1990, Mr. Dick Chen founded ROTA in Taiwan, with a focus on custom molded TPU keyboard covers. Our early business took off at a technology exposition in Japan, where ROTA gained its first order from one of the largest Japanese distributors of computer accessories. Since then, ROTA has continued to increase its products’ quality. Moreover, ROTA has expanded into new markets such as the micro-fiber mousepads, twist-jointed copyholders, silicone keyboard protectors, screen protectors, cell phone screen protectors, iPod-and-iPhone-related accessories, and more. Ever since ROTA’s founding in Taiwan, we have expanded into the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, Singapore, Japan, Korea, Russia, and Spain. In 2003, ROTA started its business in the U.S. under the brand name: Green Onions Supply.
